ABOUT ME
I'm a Ph.D. student and Gerhard Casper Graduate Fellow at Stanford's Psychology Department. I'm based at the Stanford Social Neuroscience Laboratory, led by Jamil Zaki. I also work with Carol Dweck and am affiliated with Robb Willer's Polarization and Social Change Lab. I am the co-founder and co-host of the official Stanford Psychology Podcast.

In my research, I focus on why we often underestimate how social and prosocial a species we can be. I am interested in questions such as: Why do we often hold overly cynical beliefs about human nature? What are the forces eroding our trust in each other? How do we rebuild trust without being naive?

You can find out more about my current work on the research tab. If you want to know more about who I am, check out the CV tab. Finally, there is also a tab with some photography I have done, just because I like photography.
